A question about Student Credit Cards?

January 27th, 2010 | by admin |

Recently, I applied for a CitiBank Student Credit Card. I did a lot of research, and it was by far the best credit card for students. Anyway, I was denied because I apparently have a bankruptcy and whatever else on my credit file. However, I know it is a mix-up with my credit file and my fathers, because this has happened before with TransUnion and Experian, and those two companies were more than willing to help. Now it comes down to Equifax for the CitiBank card, and they are impossible to talk to unless I pay money for a credit report. I have called many numbers for Equifax and only get a machine. Now I am getting very angry because this is impossible to resolve because I can’t talk to the people I need to. What can I do?

did they use your sin number in checking for your credit record? it is possible to do this and as each number is unique, you should not have any confusion.
