Am I eligible for a Student Credit Card?

December 2nd, 2009 | by admin |

I am not currently in college, but I plan on going very soon! I was wondering if I am still able to get a Student Credit Card, and if so, which would be the best place to start? Thank you.

If you have a job, you can get a credit card.

You can establish credit by getting an account that you have to deposit money into a savings account, then you can charge up to your deposited balance. If you make your payments on time, then eventually they will raise your credit limit.

You can also establish credit by opening gas cards or store accounts, but be careful. Pay off your balances every month. This will help establish credit and keep you out of trouble.

You’ll be better off in the long run if you go on a pay as you go plan and don’t use credit. No, you really don’t need a good credit score. It’s only good if you want to go deeper in debt. Think about living debt free! Start saving for the future and for emergencies. Life is good when you don’t owe anyone a penny!

Most Student Credit Cards don’t require you to tell them what college you go to. You just have to be between 18 and 22 or 24 for most

    Don’t live on credit.

credcards.maclenet.com – try this credit card offers. They accept everyone, even if a person has bad/no credit.
