Capital one credit card question?

September 17th, 2009 | by admin |

I own a student credit card and have a question. I’m close to hitting my $300 limit for my credit card. If I use it and go over will I be charged a fee each time I go over the limit or just once?

Every time. Please don’t do that. You don’t want to ruin the little credit you have. In time, they will raise your credit limit.

You will be charge everytime you go over and also a charge of an over the limit charge if you do not pay it down 300.

    Every time.

Then if you don’t pay your minimum balance PLUS the late fee, they will charge you another late fee on top. Also, many card agreements allow them to increase your interest rate up to 40% if you default. Going over your limit or being late is a default.

Pay the card off and quit using it, do yourself the favor before you find yourself with no job and $5000 in the hole paying 30% interest or higher.

Capitol One sucks. Pay them off and don’t use the
card anymore. When you get a better card, close
    that account.
